PR is used to persuade people to come to your events, buy your products, etc. You can use PR to drive tremendous traffic to your website. You can drive thousands of visitors to your website in days or even hours. PR is fast, effective, and can bring you the website traffic you desperately desire.

Many Internet businesses haven’t considered any PR type of strategy. They don’t send press releases and don’t even think about how to incorporate these techniques in their overall marketing plan. PR is not just about press releases.

Offline PR has only one goal which is to get magazines, newspapers, and televisions to acknowledge you and your product. For example, let’s look at a high value Google keyword such as “Mortgage”. You can get clicks for these keywords for pennies instead of dollars using PR strategies online.

The best way to cut costs online is to reduce the cost of acquisition per customer. The most effective way to achieve this goal is to use PR online.

Online PR prompts people to take action. They will take your PR at face value and believe it. This belief is what prompts the action of buying your products. Online PR gives people social proof about how great you and your products are. People will see and hear about you in several online areas such as Google, Yahoo, and the list goes on and on.

Tip: Another unique way to use PR in the online world is to increase your Google page rank.
