1. Spend time building cold prospect lists - The ease of buying life insurance leads cuts out a lot of wasted time that you would have spent cultivating a cold calling list which might or might not have produced interested customers.

2. Spend time learning to prospect cold lists - Now that you have cultivated that cold calling list, I hope that you know how to use the skills ncessary to speak with these prospects. It takes a certain skill to be able to speak with these customers to get them interested in your product, namely life insurance. With your bought life insurance leads you can jump this barrier and move on with those interested.

3. Waste time talking to people to figure out if they're interested - Why not talk to people who are actually interested in life insurance (life insurance leads) as opposed to people who are not (cold calling list). Why waste time talking to them and trying to convince them why they need life insurance. Wouldn't you rather sell to those who are actually interested. More sales lead to more money.

One week, two months, etc. How much time does it take to sell insurance to someone who is already interested in purchasing from you. Maybe an hour or two. Which would you take? Why not save yourself the headache and time and go for the purchased leads.

6. It's a skill to prospect cold lists - When calling from a list of interested life insurance leads, you are already selling to someone who is interested in your product. This bypasses a step which is generally known as cold calling prospective clients. Cold calling is a skill that is often difficult to accomplish since it can take months to learn unless you are a natural which very few are.

Possibly the one thing that stands out is the time factor involved. How much time one spends on cold calling prospective customers verses how much time one spends on calling life insurance customers who are already interested?
