Can Vitamin E really stop you getting older?

By: Clive Cable

Experts are claiming that a dose of 200 UI daily of vitamin E can now help your body defend itself against several aging diseases? Studies carried out appear to have found that alpha tocopherol, or as it's commonly known Vitamin E can improve the bodies resistance to sveral age related diseases. Futher research has found that Vitamin E may also help the blood work work effectively in the body.

It would seem that just taking a dose of 200 IU of Vitamin E a day can help the blood improve by retaining up to 40% more oxygen. The consequences of this being improved oxygen supply to the bodies major organs keeping them healthier. In addition Vitamin E acts as a natural anti-coagulant which has been shown to reduce blood clotting within the bodies circulatory system. This it is claimed will significantly reduce the risk of heart disease.

Vitamin E is believed to assist with dilating blood vessels improving overall flow through the arteries and veins and supplying the vital organs. This helps the heart receive the correct level of blood flow it needs to remain as healthy as possible. It should not come as a shock that Vitamin E has also been advocated as one of natures anti-aging solutions. Many doctors now believe that Vitamin E will stabilize and regulate a person's body during the entire aging process.

In Germany doctors have refered to Vitamin E as the 'fountain of youth', where In extensive studies, vitamin E was found to promote blood flow. According to their findings, Vitamin E when present is an excellent aid to the anti aging process.

Vitamin E has also been linked to promoting haemoglobin. Since aging has an unknown affect on blood cells and bone marrow, doctors believe that Vitamin E's support to haemoglobin is a potential solution to solving disease related to hemoglobin.

How it works is the hemoglobin retains its oxygen within the molecule for longer which helps the oxygenated blood flow round the body more smoothly to the vital organs. It is for this reason Vitamin E has been linked to the fight against disease and improved aging.

It is because of this and the continued research that doctors are beginning to suggest that Vitamin E can reduce the chance of anemia and even purify the blood.

During the aging process our body changes which promotes the build up of body plaques or as they are perhaps now better known body toxins. These show up as the well known visible signs of aging such as wrinkling, crows feet and other signs of aging. By boosting the metabolism Vitamin E works to reduce the fatty build up and prevent these toxins occuring in the body.

What happens is when these toxins come in contact with Vitamin E is they break down which helps reduce the speed of aging. It is clear that Vitamin E has some significant benefit to the aging process but like everything there can be negatives and some medical experts are more sceptical as to Vitamin E's miracle powers.

I can't really say what the future holds for the success of Vitamin E some claim the scientist are holding back on us while others claim that money is the issue the truth may never be know.
