If you are having a bad hair day, what better way to hide it than with a stylish hat. Just be sure not to take the hat off since your hair will probably be much worse. There are many types of hats that are in style right now and you will be sure to find one to suit your style and mood for the day.

You can cover your head in the winter with a wool hat, or toque to keep it warm. Wool hats are not just for the skiers and snowboarders, but can also be used by anyone to keep your head warm. They are also funky and stylish. The wool hat that is finding favor these days is the one with a slight brim. It does not attract much attention on the size of the hat, as the brim covers it up to an extent and looks great on everyone for that reason.

The baseball hats seem to be there forever and never go out of fashion. Many variations have been adding up to the baseball hat throughout the years, but the basic style has remained the same. A few years back, the fitted flexible baseball hat was famous and this year it seems the trucker style mesh hat will replace it. Since baseball hats add height to your head they do not fit properly on everyone. Surf companies these days manufacture baseball hats for both men and women.

Cowboy hats are seeing renewed popularity and not just down south either. Everyone seems to be getting into the cowboy and cowgirl chic style and what easier way than to get yourself a cowboy hat. Cowboy hats come in so many different shapes, colors, and styles now. You can find them in blues and pinks, with shells, and all sorts of embellishments.

During summer, bucket hats are the fashion, especially on the beach. These hats are available in a variety of style with prints specially designed for the beach. Half bucket hats are gaining acceptance and is a craze these days compared to full hats.

Newsboy hats are another hit amongst both the sex. These hats are stylish and serve to cover your head in a sophisticated manner. You can have one of wool, as this hat never goes out of fashion.

Many high fashion designers are getting in on the popularity of hats. Coach, for example comes out with a stylish monogrammed bucket hat each year that is very popular and sells quickly. Fedoras are also seeing heightened popularity and many designers are coming out with their own take on these old-school hats for the spring season.

There are literally hundreds of different styles of hats that you can find to suit your personal style. Hats are a great way not only to cover up your bad hair days but add to your own personal style as well.
