Doctors Notes - How to Use with Caution and Care

What are doctor's notes? Doctor's notes are those convenient little medical release forms you are given to explain your absence from work or school. While children's physicians or paediatricians are more likely to give out written doctor's excuses, you'll find that it isn't really easy to get your hands on an authentic hospital doctor's excuse. In fact, unless you really are sick enough to require an excuse, most medical personnel would simply send you right back to work, which kind of defeats the whole idea of missing work in the first place.

So, what is your next option? That would be to settle for a fake doctor's sick note, copies of which you can readily find online. A printable sample may cost you but it would beat the hassle of actually having to go all the way down to a clinic only to be told that you simply are not sick enough. So while you may not be able to fake being a patient, you can simply just fake your medical slip.

You may notice that most of the doctor's notes templates online are often left blank and this is because you are expected to fill in the various details. For example, you are required to fill in your name, address and condition for which you are being excused. Just remember to be smart about it. It would be foolish to go to all that trouble to download and print fake doctor's notes only to get caught because you were greedy and stated that you needed a week rather than a day off.

While you are indeed borrowing your doctor's note from an online store that follows a specific format, you will do well to remember that authenticity is the order of the day. In order for you to get off work or school using such an excuse, it really does have to look like the real deal. So, save the fake doctor's notes for when you really require them and not because you simply feel like it. The worse thing that can happen to you especially if you overuse fake medical releases is that you could lose your job. What's worse is that your company can actually reclaim wages and any benefits for those days when you faked being sick and didn't show up for work. So, do practice caution and a little common sense.
