Erectile Dysfunction now treatable

By: stephen dcosta

Michigan University’s recent research reveals that at as early as 13, male chimpanzees struggle to achieve social recognition that they can breed.
Males of all species, rams butting their heads or teenagers bragging their sexual exploits, feel high and mighty when friends around acknowledge they are virile and manly.

With social values undergone a change, winning over a female is no more a tough wrestle. But the pressure on males to succeed sexually is strong as ever. The basic Freudian gospel continues to hold.

Man's ability to have and sustain an erection depends on healthy operation of a system. Nerves to the penis must function well, an adequate blood supply must circulate to the penis, and the penis must receive a stimulus from the brain.
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a malfunction in these systems.

Psychological causes include depression, anxiety, low self- esteem, and preoccupation with business or other problems like loss of interest in the partner.
Performance anxiety has been identified as a common emotional problem in which the man focuses on what his body is doing during the sexual act instead of on what he is feeling. The harder he attempts, the worse he does.

Some researchers feel psycho-analytic approaches have too long dominated studies of impotence to the neglect of sometimes reversible physical causes.
A spinal cord injury could interfere with the nerve messages. Diabetes can cause nerve and blood vessel damage. Accumulation of fatty deposits in arteries can interfere with penile blood supply. Plaques or trapping of blood in penis can damage the normally spongy erectile tissue.

Cialis is the latest medication to offer credible relief for erectile dysfunction.
The yellow pill allows men to achieve an erection up to 36 hours after ingestion, and is the third anti-impotence drug approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the past five years.

Cialis works by relaxing penis blood vessels, allowing increased blood flow that causes erection. It takes about 30 minutes to kick in and can quickly take effect on a full stomach. Cialis does not interact with food or alcohol
Cialis is available in 50 countries. Sexual therapists, urologists and patients cite the 36-hour time frame as a potential advantage over competing products.
Cialis is available on line.
