Features that Separate the New Epson Solvent Printer

The Stylus Pro GS6000 comes with a novelnew ColorBurst Professional Production RIP, a full-featured PostScript Language Level 3-compatible RIP and print server. The RIP is Pantone licensed for accurate color matching, offers ICC output profile support, and features a proprietary multi-threaded/ multi-processing architecture for faster task processing. This is compatible with many different third-party RIP manufacturers and workflows.
Furthermore, the Stylus Pro GS6000 includes unique Printhead ink-repelling coating technology to eliminate nozzle build-up. This printer also is designed with an automatic take-up reel system for unattended production of high-volume print runs. Consumers will also be pleased with the Stylus Pro GS6000â€™s intelligent preventative maintenance system with a four-mode automatic cleaning system and a user-friendly maintenance system to reduce downtime.
Epson UltraChrome GS continues Epson's industry standing for outstanding color reproduction and high print quality. Not enough can be said about the superior color accuracy that is made possible by the addition of orange and green inks. This addition significantly enhances the gamut beyond the color range of both 4 and 6 color ink sets. Remarkable corporate colors and ultra-vibrant images not previously seen from a solvent based printer can now be reproduced with UltraChrome GS ink.
Notably one of the most exciting features of the Stylus Pro GS 6000 is its media-heating system with individually controlled pre, platen, and post heaters with temperature controls via a front control panel or front-end RIP software. It should be noted that the Stylus Pro GS6000 also features standard USB connectivity with a USB 2.0 and Gigabit Ethernet port for easy application access.
