Among the buzz around home income opportunities, free online paid surveys seem to be one that enjoys quite a fair bit of attention. The appeal lies in its simplicity to earn an income even for the most inexperienced, non-techie person. While there are tons of sites that are touting this opportunity as a ticket to million dollar profits, we all know that it is impossible for anyone to achieve that. But a couple of hundreds or even thousands is possible with some effort.

The truth is - you can actually earn money taking free online paid surveys. But don't raise your expectations too high and don't get carried away by unrealistic promises. Yes, there are plenty of scam websites offering such questionnaires, but there are trustable ones as well. The latter can bring you a nice additional income of a few hundred dollars per month - not something you can survive on, but sufficient to cover some bills or go for a family vacation abroad.

Be prepared to set aside at least a few hours per week to participate and complete the free online paid surveys. At the start, you may earn little. Once you start registering with more companies, especially with those that pay generous payouts, you are well on your way to a consistent income stream.

Be cautious while choosing online market research companies. Remember that a genuine one will never ask you to pay for registration. The biggest scam that may happen is - you will pay to join, but will never get any survey offers. At best, you may get a low-pay offer once in a blue moon. A true market research company will need nothing but your honest opinion; the more so, they are interested in paying rather than getting money form you.

Folks may be upset that after paying online survey directories, they are not getting the questionnaires to start earning with. For a moment, they may feel they are scammed but the fact is, they are not. The truth is, these directories are not the market research companies.

Directories charge just to give you a list of these market research companies saving you the time you would spend searching for them on your own. So, technically, they can't be regarded as scam websites.

That said, if you are tight on budget and have a lot of spare time, you can search online for the information about each market research company. Set aside a few weekends and register with each company and test it out. Earning a supplementary income using free online paid surveys can really be profitable and interesting.
