The Nintendo Wii is unlike any other gaming console ever used before. It is small and powerful and is even helping people to lose weight and get fit by getting them out of their seats to play.

So far, the games for Nintendo Wii have made great use of the unique motion-sensitive controllers. Games for Nintendo Wii like Wii Sports, which incorporates the controller in such an active way that it is easy to just pick up and play, even for people who have never played a console game before.

In Wii Sports, the controllers act as a tennis racket, a golf club, a bowling ball launcher, and even boxing gloves! These games are great fun for people of all ages and even allows some to increase their level of fitness.

Other games for Nintendo Wii that have proved to be very popular are first-person shooting games. Because the controller can be pointed directly at the screen and used in the game, The games are made easy to use, it's simply point and shoot. This is key to success for the Nintendo Wii games - ease of use

Driving games for Nintendo Wii have been quite successful. Your Wii controller can be used as a steering wheel to control your car. This makes it logical and is very similar to the old arcade games of years ago.

Some games for Nintendo Wii don't use the standard controllers at all and instead use special input devices. Some music-based games, use items that are specific to that game, and very similar to the original.

A guitar, microphone, or drum set made especially for Wii games can be used to work with your game in a completely new but very logical way. Its very similar to same way the Musical organs do the same thing as a piano, except its taken to the console now.

There will, no doubt, be many new games for Nintendo Wii in the future that use the Wii remote in new ways. There will also be many more games with specialized controllers.

The Wii has quickly become a favorite for many, and future innovations will keep the Wii fans happy and satisfied for many years to come. This will be especially true as more and more third party companies, start making additions.
