Grants For Your Future

By: Wendy Carmichael

When you look into your future, what do you see? Are you living in your dream home with your career booming and plenty of time and money left over for a two week vacation to Hawaii? You could be.

When you look back, what do you see? Have you been working at the same tired old job for 15 years and staying just barely on top of your payments without a minute to spare for relaxation?

The fact of the matter is that if you don’t make some changes, your past will overlap your future.

Starting a business is a scary thing. Leaving your weekly paycheck in search of a more satisfying and better paying career is a frightening choice to make. “What ifs?” start to plague your thoughts, not to mention the bill collectors that are breathing down your neck. You can only hold them at bay for so long.

You probably already know what you’d do if you could drop your current black hole of time and fun, otherwise know as your job. If money was no object and the sky was the limit, you would...

Now back to reality because money is a huge object, considering you don’t have any, and you’ve already maxed the limit on your credit card so that’s not going to get you very far.

What a lot of people are not aware of are billions of dollars, many of them your tax dollars, held in reserves before they are gifted to American citizens every year so they can finish school, start a business and build that beautiful dream home that YOU’VE been dreaming of! The people who get the money are American tax paying residents who ask for it.

Are you an American citizen? Do you pay taxes? Did you ask for a grant? If you’re like most American’s, you answered yes to the first two questions and, it’s not clear why, but no to the last question.

Most people don’t even have the first clue about where to begin to look for grants. They either feel as if they would “never qualify” and “nothing’s really ever free”, or that there is just too much red tape to get anywhere near that money.

Some have been brave and typed GRANT into a search engine, only to be faced with 250,000 web sites claiming 250,000 things, but not getting any closer to even beginning to understand what is involved in the whole process.

There really is a lot of information out there about grants. It could take you several months just to weed through before you find a granting agency willing to finance your dreams.

Professionals like the USA Grant Team have already compiled all of this information in one giant data base that also includes specifications, requirements and tons of other information about the grantor, who they are looking for, what they wish to donate and for specifically what cause.

This will greatly simplify the search. When you can answer a few questions, and within moments receive a list of matching donors, how much they want to give you, and what you need to do to apply, you’ll be left with plenty of time to go shopping for a new bathing suit for that Hawaiian vacation you’re now planning.
