Your best bet is to plan deliberately and pursue just one goal, for a start at least. Get going in a small way and target $3,000 per month, or in other words, $100 a day.

If the selling price of your product doubles from $10 a unit to $20, you will realize that you're only required to sell half the number of products, to reach the same sales turnover.

Next, you might think of offering an extra item for free along with your standard item, a similar item that follows which costs $5, say. Suppose one of 5 buyers adopt this upscale offer, within a week, this works out to $35 extra.

You might also expand into higher value items. Assume that you devise an offer package of an item valued at $50 at a temptingly discounted rate to earlier buyers of your product. If one in ten of this group respond, you will receive a further $175 a week.

You could also introduce a backend product at the lower end of the spectrum, costing $25, in about 7 days of launching your business. If the response you receive is conservatively estimated as 3 out of 10 former buyers, you stand to gain $250 weekly.

The medium term model aims at a reliable income every month with a product that has to be used repeatedly. Establish a membership model and ask the members to pay $10 per month, and voila, you've achieved your $3,000 for that month. By now you must have realized that you have to put in the effort at the start, only in the first month.

In the long term, where income is calculated every quarter and annually, you have to design something that can create revenue for the purchaser, and sell it to him/her, such as content websites, or software development. The main thing is if you are willing to wait for your profits, and think big.
