There are lots of other places you can advertise to when starting a home business and most of the time you can do quite a lot by just handing out business cards or organizing leaflet drops. This will be a bit more costly, but more effective depending on what type of business you are running. An electrician or plumber is always needed in every home, so this will work well. A dog walker on the other hand would only work for homes where there are dogs, so leaving flyers in a local vet clinic might be more appropriate.
