Online dating is en vogue. It is taking our lives like a hurricane and is a widespread hobby of existence all over the Americas, Europe, Africa and Asia. It may not have thumped the Middle East to date, but will.

I wonder, why people are so enthralled by the virtaul dating game? I have to admit I have always seen it as a somewhat sordid hobby for the recluse. Then again, I've been single for how long?. And why should I call it seedy if someone wants to greet other people?

Of course, there are, undoubtedly, those who visit online dating sites to satisfy a seedier need. Many, on the other hand, are taken by the idea of meeting people only to chit chat with people outside of their circle.

Our world is fast and furious. We find ourselves in huge cities but have no time to meet others. Our homes are bursting at the seams with singles trying to find other singles, but its just too dear to socialize.

Finding new folk at social hangouts is a nightmare too. And usually the conversation is either inaudible or just plain meaningless after a few drinks.

We, residents of the bulging global cities, don't have the patience find other people. So we greet eachother over the internet.

Then there are others who seek out these sites for a giggle. These sites are filled with the most outrageous life-stories and images - anything will do to seek out the friends individuals are looking for.
