Some can do with Water

By: Kim Parker

Water therapy is one of time-tested ways to lose some lbs for sure

Alicia learnt water therapy at one of the natural weight-loss workshops. There is no great deal about it though, she says with aplomb, “but it worked in my case”. She was never an obese, just a few kilos over her ideal, prescribed weight of 55 kilos.

The water therapy goes thus – warm up a glassful of water first thing in the morning. It should be warm and not hot. Sit down to drink it slowly. For the beginners a glassful is too much to begin with. It may give them sensations of vomiting or just plain dizziness. But one is advised to force-drink even if it means 10 sips to begin with. Water must be had even one goes for his ablutions. It helps to evacuate better thus helping cleanse bowels as well.

As a part of the therapy one has to graduate from few sips of warm water to more than atleast three glassfuls – each glassful would mean 200-225 ml of warm water. This may result into frequent urination but it will be less frequent once one gets used to it. To save oneself from excessive urination one must have water atleast three hours before one leaves for work, otherwise one may be inconvenienced in looking for public loo while travelling for work.

Studies indicate that the excessive water that is drained out from the system takes away adipose (technically called fat) form the body. The loss of such fat is gradual though. One may not notice substantial reduction in one’s weight in the first month but this becomes noticeable in the second month or around that period.

Those planning for weight loss can try water therapy before they go for phentermine, which may be an easy proposition for its being cheap and available even online. The appetite suppressant taken wisely no wonder works but even wiser would be to try water before you buy phentermine. Of course if you are patient and do not have too many kilos to lose.
