Stretch Marks Disappear-are You Ready To Lose Your Stretch Marks?

By: Cavyl Stewart

How can you make stretch marks disappear? This is a question that has been on a lot of people's minds since bathing suits, shorts and mini skirts became fashionable. Not everyone agrees that stretch marks can be completely eliminated. It is reasonable to hope though that through certain techniques, you may be able to make some signs of stretch marks disappear.

Wait for stretch marks to disappear

Not everyone is comfortable with or want to wait for their stretch marks to disappear naturally. It is commonly believed that you can nip stretch marks in the bud by treating them promptly at the first sign of them forming. Sometimes, stretch marks that aren't too severe eventually lighten up over time. You might be one of those who would benefit from waiting awhile.

Of course, on the other hand there are people who really do need to undergo treatments to make their stretch marks disappear. Even with good treatment though, severe stretch marks may only really heal up to a certain extent.

Consider professional procedures

It is not uncommon for those with a lot of money to pay for procedures in the hopes of making stretch marks disappear. Chemical peeling and laser therapy are only some of the popular procedures that are used in the treatment of stretch marks. Some do enjoy great improvements in their condition but not everyone does. A person's particular skin type and stretch mark condition directly affect the effectiveness of clinical procedures. You should also know that these procedures often cost a lot of money.

Try stretch marks creams

All natural or synthetic products that are sold on the market may contribute to making stretch marks disappear. All you do is simply apply the product as directed on your stretch marks and wait for them to fade. Don't look for instant results though. Some products have to be used everyday, twice a day for several months before you will see results. For some people, the marks don't go away completely at all. You have to be honest and diligent with your use of a product. Otherwise, you might not be able to make a dent in your condition at all.

If you have allergies, you should watch what product you use. You could have some adverse allergic reactions to some of the ingredients. Choosing an all-natural stretch marks cream can help in this regard. Aside from helping stretch marks disappear, they are also less likely to cause side effects.

Camouflage your stretch marks

One temporary solution to make stretch marks disappear is to simply hide them underneath some clothing or make-up. Some also get a tan to be able to cover up the marks. Many skin specialists though would discourage this kind of stretch mark cover up. Tanning can be dangerous when not done properly or when done too frequently.

It may not be entirely possible for you to make stretch marks disappear but you have to be realistic. You may or may not be able to get rid of your problem. Each person's condition is unique and yours might require a lot of patience and various treatment approaches. I invite you to use these tips when you are ready to make your stretch marks history.
