The University of Tampa

Tampa is a large city situated in Hillsborough County, on the west coast of Florida. The Tampa Bay Area is composed of Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater metropolitan area, one of the biggest metro areas in the state.

The combination of all those factors have attracted many residents to relocate to Tampa. Over a hundred thousand people are expected to move in to Tampa in the next several years, and you may be one of them. Another reason for Tampa's growth in population is the healthy amount of good job opportunities available there, not to mention the great sights and sounds that define the city.

One of the things that people look for in a city when they are about to move is the schools. Tampa also has its share of universities, colleges, high schools, and other schools within its borders. One of these is the University of Tampa.

The University of Tampa is a moderately-sized private university. It stands on a hundred acres of land in the middle of Downtown Tampa, and caters to 5,500 students from all over the world. Half of its undergraduates are citizens of Florida, and a large portion of the students live in the university\'s dormitory.

The University of Tampa has over a hundred career choices to offer, including post-graduate degrees, such as graduate and doctorate programs. One of the most popular course in all of Florida is the university's Master of Business Administration.

Students achieve academic excellence because the university targets individual growth, by involving them in real world situations and community service programs.

However, all of these first-class features do not come without a cost. Though it takes $28,000 to remain in the university, students can seek financial help through the different scholarships offered in the university.
