The Wonderful Cold & Flu Remedy & The Magic of Garlic

I'd like to share this exceptional elixir with you. It is my mother's remedy for colds and flu. I have used it whenever necessary all my life.

Cut up some oranges, mandarins, satsumas, lemons, grapefruit or any other citrus fruit you like. Transfer it all to a big jug and add any or all of the following ingredients:

ginger root cut up

garlic chopped

whisky or brandy or any other tipple you prefer

a big lump of honey

You could if you wish add some spices and herbs to the mix. When you have finished adding ingredients, pour boiling water over it all and brew it like it was tea. Drink as much as you can comfortably manage of this hot brew until you start to feel better. You can add more boiling water and top up as necessary until it tastes too dilute to continue. You then need to chop up some more ingredients and start the whole process again!

This recipe will literally act like magic whenever you are ill. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Wonderful Garlic

Garlic is the first item in my list of best foods for detox. Garlic cleanses and sterilises the gut from mouth to anus. It creates a harmonious environment therein. It is cooling and cleansing and soothing. It removes unpleasant fats and cholesterols and cleans the liver, encouraging the liver to health and settling all the other secondary organs of digestion. Garlic also cleans the arteries, thereby improving your skin, your overall health and the balance of your mind.

A good recommendation is to eat one clove at least every day.It is best not to cook it and its benefits get destroyed and don't fry it with onions either. Garlic can be added to food once it has been cooked. In this way you will enjoy its full health benefits.

If you find that there is a strong smell coming away from your skin after you've eaten garlic, then this demonstrates how much you needed to detox. This is in fact a real indicator of your requirement to detox your body. The thing is to just keep going. Get one garlic clove down you every day and you'll find that in no time at all the smell will disappear. This will meant that the garlic is doing its job in getting rid of all those nasty toxins.
