They Are Always Successful - How Do They Do It?

Perhaps you have listened to the success of others and asked yourself, “How do, ‘THEY’ make all that money and how can I be a part of, ‘THEY’?”

“T” of, “THEY” stands for, “Time.” “Time" will either prove us or it will expose us” as Jeff Olson say’s in his book, “The Slight Edge Philosophy.” Sadly, for the 19/20 people in life who QUIT, time exposes them. We have the ability to manifest success immediately, but people get in their OWN way of success so the TIME it takes differs for everyone! In fact, those who say things like, “I thought I would be a (whatever the title is) by now” are focusing on the results they haven’t achieved in the period of time they expected they would achieve them, instead of focusing on the results they have achieved and the process along the way that they SAID they were committed to. They are NOT committed to the power of building with time. Our society strives for, “instant gratification” though. Win a lottery. Be an overnight success. Find that silver bullet, that breakthrough, that quantum leap, that magic pill. TIME though may sound boring. However, AS SOON AS PEOPLE CAN implement the power of TIME, will be as soon as life begins to be ANYTHING BUT boring.

“H” stands for, “Habits.” To create great, consistent results in our businesses, we obviously require great, consistent habits! Habits include what we think, speak, and do, or what we don’t! We think, speak and do our lives into existence! If people say, “What am I doing wrong?” they are actually creating a habit of focusing on what is wrong, which naturally attracts more of what is, “wrong!” If people DON’T smile as they dial, or DON’T have great energy, or DON’T have gratitude then they communicate subconsciously that their business is NOT fun so WHY would anyone want to do it??? Individual actions for habits may appear mundane, or insignificant, which is exactly why people let habits slip! A business doesn’t fall apart TODAY with no prospecting. Obese Americans don’t become obese overnight. Divorce does not happen on the wedding day. It starts with a one missed phone call, a bag of chips, and yelling one disrespectful comment. However, over time, those, “one-timers” either prove us, or expose us!

“E” stands for, “Emotions.” Negative emotions can take us OUT of the game if we allow them. Understand though that emotions are simply, “energy in motion.” Thus, they are NOT to be squelched or ignored, but to serve as guides. If we feel good, we know that we are, ‘in the flow’ and thus moving in the best direction. If we don’t feel good, we know that we require a course correction. We choose to feel how we feel for how long we choose to feel it! To create exceptional results in free enterprise or in life, we require keeping our, “energy in motion!”

“Y” stands for, “You.” EVERYTHING is in place for YOU to succeed and YOU are response-able for your success! Thus, when success is not in your hands, blaming the leads, the product, the system, the leaders, or whatever-is never an option! BE whom you require being to have what you want! YOU are unique though! One of the BIGGEST mistakes people make is to compare themselves to others in their business and then beat themselves up for not having the same success. This is crazy as people bring different things to the table! Everything is in place for you to succeed, but it’s up to YOU to consistently implement what you know, compounding it with time, great, consistent habits and choosing HOW you respond to emotions along the way.

That is exactly how, “THEY” do it!
