Vegas Strip Blackjack

Vegas Strip Blackjack is a popular variation of the traditional blackjack game. The aim of Vegas Strip Blackjack is same as the traditional blackjack game, that is, to beat the dealer’s hand by obtaining a higher value hand, without busting (exceeding 21 points), or by making the dealer bust.

The rules of Vegas Strip blackjack game are similar to traditional blackjack, except some slight variations which changes the flow of the game. Vegas Strip blackjack is played with standard four decks of playing cards which will be shuffled before starting each game. In Vegas Strip Blackjack game, the player can only bet one hand at a time. This means that the odds of obtaining some specific cards are high on the single hand version.

One of the main points the players must keep in mind is that when the player split an ace card and then receive a 10 value card, it will be counted as only 21 points and not blackjack. That is, the player cannot get a blackjack after a split. Another aspect of Vegas Strip Blackjack game is that the dealer must stand on any 17. This means that the dealer’s risk for busting has reduced in Vegas Strip Blackjack game and the dealer is getting a good chance for the player’s 18 + hand of winning, as the dealer must stand on 17.

If the player wins a blackjack, then he/she is paid out at odds of 3:2 on his/her original bet. If the dealer is having a winning hand but not a blackjack, the player will be paid out at odds of 1:1 on his/her original bet. If the dealer wins a blackjack and the player have taken Insurance, then the player will be paid at odds of 2:1 on the insurance bet.
