As for storage capacities, ipods vary from 512 MB to 80 GB depending on the rate of compression of your songs. For instance, twenty GB is comparable to over 5000 four-minute songs, or more than 500 CDs. However, you will have to update your ipod manually if you have more music than the capacity of your ipod.
