Zodiac Symbol Scorpio From Vedic Astrology

With Vedic Astrology, the symbols or signs of the Zodiac that an individual is born under are considered as characteristic traits of that individual. Many individuals will pick up the newspaper and read their daily horoscope, but few really understand the true meaning being of the zodiac symbol they were born under.
The eighth sign or symbol of the Zodiac is Scorpio the scorpion, which is a ground dweller containing a poisonous stinger on the tip of its tail. Another symbol for this, though not as popular, is the eagle, which is a predator that sees far away while soaring above troubles, hypothetically that is.
In Vedic Astrology the sun stands for an individual's inner nature, character, and personality. If you are a Scorpio then the sun was under water when you were born. This means that you are considered to be a water sign. The Scorpio is feminine and is ruled by the fierce warrior planet, Mars and the dark planet of transformation, Pluto.
The personalities of individuals born under the sign of Scorpio normally show the characteristics of being a loyal and dedicated friend, a fierce competitor, strong, solid, carrying authority and great will, and being inquisitive. Scorpios are fascinated about how things work and how people work. They can be extremely manipulative when in the pursuit of attaining their goals. They like to be in control, and they have a great understanding of human emotions. Scorpios can learn to use their powers to help inspire others and their mental and physical powers of recuperation are simply remarkable. Scorpios are subject to fits of vindictive jealousy, so beware.
If Scorpios are determined to do something, then not much is going to stop them because they are very stubborn, resistant, and cannot stand changes. They may seem easy going, congenial, or gregarious on the surface, but they are actually tenacious with the need to either manipulate or control the situation and sometimes both.
Scorpios are very sensitive individuals having very deep feelings, who are passionate and emotional. They are strong willed and have the ability to get to the bottom of things and will not stop until they do. The emotions of a Scorpio motivates their behavior and reactions most of the time. Most of the time their emotions are prone to be worn on their shirt sleeve.
In relationships, Scorpios want to dominate, but will rarely let on about their true feelings even during the most open moments of communication. Scorpios do not mean to be mysterious, but they hate being double-crossed or manipulated, which would result in a reaction of sarcasm or vengeance.
Scorpios are prone to headaches, infections, fevers, and various illnesses of their private parts. These problems, however, will not keep you down for long, due to your stubbornness and your love of clandestine activities. Your colors are midnight blue, emerald green, black, and red. You rule metallic iron and you birthstone is topaz, which is one of the hardest minerals mined. The flowers of the Scorpio are the anemone, heather, and gardenia.
Scorpios tend to have a youthful appearance with fierce eyes, who love excitement. They have a generous disposition, but are fickle minded. Females tend to have masculine tendencies. They tend to become proficient in art, dance, music, and in philosophy. Scorpios are set in their ways and will uphold their own views, but they can be silent and dignified, until pushed. Being married to a Scorpio may not be the easiest thing in the world, because of their temperamental differences and generative illnesses that will affect one of you.
