Bridging Finance Explained
Bridging finance is a way to get capital by using real estate you already own or for purchasing new real estate. Depending on the type of real estate you are trying to purchase and the type you are using, there are a number of different bridging finance options available to you. The loan will have around a six month duration, as they are designed only for short-term loans.
What Exactly Is A Bridge Loan?
A bridge loan is basically a short term loan -- one that is repaid in under a year. A bridge loan helps the borrower to get the cash quickly while waiting for a long-term loan or other financing to come through. The instant money allows the borrower to pay for outstanding financial obligations while still waiting for a deal or contract.
