  • Dressage - A Brief Introduction
    Dressage, which comes from the French word meaning training, and is pronounced to rhyme with visage, trains horses to be active, obliging, flexible and receptive. When done well, dressage can be considered an equivalent to ballet. Perhaps, this is so because dressage asks the same, flexibility, smoothness and vitality of horse and rider as does ballet of its performers.
